About the Massage Therapist

When life hands you lemons...

Roger Livingston was a professional electronics technician, training to be an engineer, when his life was shattered in an auto accident that left him in a coma for two months. Unable to return to his vocation, he was unable to keep a job, frustrated and depressed. The woman who became his wife, Rosie, brought light back into his life, along with a young son she brought into the marriage. Mike, inspired by Roger's former vocation, is a professional plumber today. Not long after they married, Rosie brought light to the apple of Roger's eye: his daughter Brianne, who plays softball at Hammond High School in Columbia. A louder and more devoted softball dad you have never seen.

Ten years ago, on a vacation to visit Rosie's family in her native Puerto Rico, Roger received therapeutic massage for the first time. After the session was finished, he complained that the therapist put him in pain. The unexpected response: "I am sorry that you feel that way, sir, but I promise you'll feel better tomorrow." To his surprise, Roger felt better for weeks! Remembering that he had been good with his hands as an electronic technician, he wondered whether therapeutic massage might become a new career for him.

Roger enrolled in the Baltimore School of Massage and was surprised by how naturally massage came to him. Encouraged by his instructors to find his own path as a therapist, Roger uses a variety of techniques customized to each client, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Therapeutic Touch, Energy Healing, Assisted Stretching, and Migraine Management.

Roger Livingston has been a professional massage therapist for over nine years. His highest commitment is to his clients' healing and health. Roger helps you to release tension, relieve you of pain, and enjoy being in your body again. When life hands you lemons...
